Basketball starts this Saturday!!!

This is our biggest sport.  It begins with practices once a week  leading up to the State Games in March which includes 2 overnight stays in a hotel in Worcester.  This is always the highlight for many of our kids and adults. 
 
Practices will be held at Elmwood School, Saturday afternoons.

2007 Soccer

Special Olympic Soccer begins tomorrow (Mondays) from 4:30-6pm
MARK THIS DATE: November 4th (Sunday) is our big State Tournament in Byfield Massachusetts. 
 
Athletes and Volunteers
Everyone needs to have SHIN GUARDS!  (required by the state office)  Mouth guards are optional.  Please no cleats.
Athletes need to have an up to date Medical Form on file
Volunteers need to have an up to date Direct Service Form on file

Parents: During our practices, consider bringing lawn chairs, BUG SPRAY and a dinner picnic with items to share.  Swap phone numbers.  Make play dates.  Network.  Get to know Sue Aitken and find out more about upcoming social events.  Meet Respite workers to find out more about the Michael Lisnow Respite Center here in town.  We have a lot of new people on our team this Fall.  Welcome!!!

HSO Softball starts next Monday !!!

HSO Softball begins next Monday (June 11th) from 4:30-6pm at Reed Park
No experience necessary - this will be a noncompetitive, educational season
Bring: water, bug spray and baseball glove (name written on it)
 
Directions:
Main Street to Route 135 (towards Westboro)
Exchange Street until the end
Take right onto Highland Street
Continue to go straight onto gravel/dirt road to Reed Park
 
Field is subject to change.

Charles River Boston Cruise

Charles River Sightseeing Cruise (60min)
Saturday June 2nd at 10am
Group rate: $10 adults $5 children (2-12) Free kids (under 2)
 
 
Direction:
Take Route 90 - Mass Pike
Exit Left at Cambridge/Allston Tolls - follow signs to Cambridge
Proceed through lights and over River Street Bridge (Charles River)
Immediately Turn right at other end of bridge and travel East on Memorial Drive
Stay on Memorial Drive - The mall is approximately 3 miles on the left across from the Sonesta Hotel

Park in the Cambridgeside Galleria Mall Parking Garage then proceed to the food court inside the mall.  The pier is located directly outside the food court.
