2007 Fishing Derby

 

Date: Saturday, May 12th (rain date is May 19th)

Time: 8:00 am to 9:00 am for children under 10 years of age

                 Fishing Derby 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Location: Hopkinton Sportsman's Club, 95 Lumber St., Hopkinton

• Free to all those 15 years of age and younger

• Free T-shirt to first 150 children to register

• Pre-registration can be made by calling the station

• Pond will be stocked with trout

• Bait will be provided

• Prizes will be awarded throughout the day with a trophy presentation shortly after 1:00 pm

• FREE FOOD FOR ALL!

May 6th ~ Hopkinton Mini-Marathon

This is a big community day of races, prizes and fun.  Again, it's open for the entire family, but the marathon committee is reserving a time slot specifically for our team.  

 

Located at the Hopkinton High School (outdoor) track 

The day's event starts at Noon.

Our team has the 1:00-1:30pm time slot

RSVP if you'd like to race that day.   

April 21st is Community Fun Clean Up Day

Groups throughout Hopkinton will be cleaning sections of the town.  Our Special Olympic team has been assigned to the Senior Center from 8:30-10:30.   I thought this would be a good way for our team to give back to the town that has supported us so wonderfully and touch a group of people (senior citizens) that sometimes get overlooked.    If you'd like to join us (the entire family is welcome), let me know as soon as you can so we can order donuts and whatnot.

 

8:30-10:30 at the Senior Center

Bring: a dozen cookies to give to the seniors (we'll arrange them on a big platter)

We'll have plastic gloves and bags available for trash pickup.

Karaoke Night at The Alamo!!

Tuesday, April 10, 2007
6-9 p.m. upstairs at The Alamo in Milford (55 Medway Road)


No charge for entrance and full menu will be available for those who want to purchase appetizers/dinner/dessert, etc. Hopkinton Special Olympics will have private use of the upstairs area for Karaoke fun, socializing and dining!


Please come and show off your singing talents, or get warmed up for your performance at the Talent Show on May 5th! Hope to see you there!
